Man makes a plan and God laughs.
That's what happen to us. Hundreds of millions of people all around the world are having to change their routine.
Working from home. Not leaving the house. Canceling everything.
There is a lot happening every single day due to the Corona Virus. I'm not writing for you to scream and panic. Actually, I think now is the time to thrive.
However, now all of us have more time on our hands.
Extra time that can be spent watching Netflix... or doing something a little bit more productive.
In today's beautiful and sexy article, I will be introducing some of the most powerful questions for self-awareness.
Your instructions:
1. Choose a question. Maybe the one you are scared or least want to answer.
2. Journal, go for a walk, talk about it with someone you trust. Write your answer in the comments or send me an email. Reflect inwardly and answer to the best of your capability.
3. Use this new awareness to make improved decisions in the moment so that you can live a better, more fulfilling life.
Sounds cool? Let's begin.

BONUS:
Here are four of my favorite exercises that you can do to increase your self awareness.
1. Make a list of 100 questions
I learned this one from Michael Gelb in his book 'How to think like Leonardo Da Vinci'.
Here is part 1 of the exercise:
"In your notebook, make a list of a hundred questions that are important to you. Your list can include any kind of question as long as it's something you deem significant: anything from "How can I save more money?" or "How can I have more fun?" to "What is the meaning and purpose of my existence? and "How can I best serve the creator?"
Do the entire list in one sitting. Write quickly; don't worry about spelling, grammar, or repeating the same question in different words (recurring questions will alert you to emerging themes). Why a hundred questions? The first twenty or so will be "off the top of your head." In the next thirty or forty themes often begin to emerge. And, in the latter part of the second half of the list you are likely to discover unexpected but profound material.
When you have finished, read through your list and highlight the themes that emerge. Consider the emerging themes without judging them. Are most of your questions about relationships? Business? Fun? Money? The meaning of life?"
Now, once you finish this exercise continue with part 2:
"Review your list of a hundred questions. Choose the ten that seem most significant. Then rank them in importance from one to ten. (Of course, you can add new questions or change the order at any time.) Do not attempt to answer them right now; you've done enough just putting them in writing in a place where you can easily find them."
I did this question when I went on my meditation retreat. The insight I got from it was incredible. Highly recommend you set some time aside and do this one.
2. My purpose in life
This one is fairly simple.
All that is required is patience and discipline.
You take out a journal and write "My purpose in life...." and continue with the first thing that comes into your mind.
You keep repeating this "My purpose in life..." over and over again until you cry.
It could take one hour or more so be prepared to continue onward.
Eventually you will reach the point where your questions make you emotional. That is when you know you're close.
3. Get out of your own way
Imagine your best friend has your exact problem. The challenge you are dealing with.
Now, imagine them coming to you and asking for the solution. They describe the problem in exact detail.
What advice would you give them?
Now, whatever you told them, do it for yourself.
We always get in our own way. We must play the perspective game in order to have access to the infinite wisdom already inside of us.
We gain access by not thinking about ourselves, but what we would do for others.
4. What do you want? (requires a partner)
This exercise requires a partner.
You ask 'what do you want' get their answer (write it down) and follow up with 'what else?'
What else? What else? What else? What else? What else? What else?
Keep going and going.
Eventually (you'll both know) when it gets real.
What you really want. Once you know this, you can focus on creating systems and processes to bring it into reality.
